Medicine from the Bluebells...
A guided journey for you with the magical medicine of the Bluebells...
Hello lovely one
How is your heart today?
I have missed connecting with you over these past few weeks, although I have to say I have loved taking total time out over the Easter holidays with my girls and family. While initially when I considered aligning my work to the school holidays I felt resistance, now I have fully sunk into these breaks as really valuable times for me to step out of my business and gain a very important perspective on my creativity and the way I want to show up in my heart work.
There have of course been some emotional challenges, stomped feet, meltdowns and raised voices, but overall we have had such an enriching time. If you have been on an Easter break, what have you got up to?
Below are a few photos from our adventures. We mostly went to local gardens, woodland and National Trust properties, as well as visiting my brother and his family on the coast and having a wonderfully vibrant day out in London where we made costumes at the Tate Modern, played giant snakes and ladders on Southbank, explored Covent Garden and hunted for big Easter Eggs and had pizza overlooking the Thames.

My eldest had an additional inset day on Tuesday so I haven’t returned to full capacity in my creative work yet… but I really wanted to drop in with something seasonal for you this week and our woodland walks provided me with the perfect inspiration.
In our local area we are fully IN Bluebell season now.
These beautiful, magical and mysterious little blue flowers create the most sensational vibrant carpet across the local woodlands. From the moment I saw my first one displaying her petals during a walk with my daughters a few weeks ago there was an element of excitement that bubbled up within me. I remember walking through the woodlands as a child with my family and being captivated by these little lantern like flowers.
Last year, inspired by a beautiful in person event with
and the seasonal delights, I recorded a Yoga Nidra Journey through the Bluebells and I wanted to offer it up to you all from behind the paywall so you too can sink into the magic and medicine of these small, but exceptionally mighty, wild woodland flowers.I invite you to settle yourself into a soothing space, get cosy and sink into this guided journey. It is 25 minutes long and is best done lying down. This practice will be available for free until the bluebells fade away for the year in a few weeks time. Click the post below to be taken to the practice…
If you enjoy this practice, and want to sink into more like this, please do consider becoming a member of The Balm, where you will get access to a library of Yoga Nidras, my Human Design foundation series and many more resources and live offerings to tend to your heart and soul.
A little reminder of what is coming up in The Balm membership over the next few weeks…
Tomorrow (Thursday 24th April) we have a Human Design workshop exploring defined and undefined centres. Next up will be The Restoration Session — a live Yoga Nidra journey on 3rd May and then if you want to tend to your sacred business and heart work the Seasonal Planning ceremony will take place on 22nd May. You can find out more about The Balm Membership space here.
I will also be opening up the doors to my free three day Heart Work Devotional for the second time very soon (with some extra sprinkles!)… watch this space for more information….
Let me know in the comments, or via an email reply, how your heart is feeling and how you are tending to yourself in this season…
Until next time
With so much love and gratitude

Work With Me
Beautiful Lauren! I adore bluebells, and they transport me into a magical world of possibilities. So nice to see more people putting down work for school holidays, it's something I've been trying to practice for a few years, and it's so needed isn't it. When we pour so much of ourselves into our businesses and creative work, the space and pause is necessary. 💜🌿
Gorgeous! How I miss the bluebells in the UK! Portugal has a Spanish pest flower that’s similar but not nearly as magical. Literal fairies in the woods. Also what a magic holidays, lucky girls having a mama like you beauty
