Ah I loved this Lauren and I am so happy you are sharing your poetry. I loved what you said about the bliss and rawness, how everything exists together. I can absolutely envisage your poetry book and have already pre-ordered it in my mind…! xx

Thank you lovely one, I’m feeling so called to offer more poetry, perhaps because it feels so accessible and yet deep in small snatched moments of mayhem in motherhood. Xxx

Ps My journal has postpartum poetry series from the first 2 weeks after my daughter was born that I’ve been holding close to my heart, maybe you’ve just inspired me to share them with the world xx

Thank you for sharing this, Lauren! I love how the lightness of the poem reflects the frivolity of childhood, and yet the words betray the depth of our experience as mothers. So so beautiful!

Very sweet. I write poems too. Well tiny poems. Or maybe you could say soulful lines. (They are never a full blown poems)

They seem to arrive when I'm not trying too hard.
