Ah this is such a brilliant and clear outline, thank you L. Learning of my type has really changed so much for me. It is sometimes tricky to wait for the invitation but often I do feel more comfortable and ‘seen’ when I do. My only two defined centres are throat and G-centre, I think I need to learn more about how to work with these/the open ones — thank you for the example of your open ideas/inspiration centre and ideas for coming back into alignment when our centres are thrown off. Can’t wait to learn more at the online workshop xx
Thank you so much for digesting it all Lyndsay - it is a lot I know!!! Wow, that is lots of openness but that connection from throat to G-centre is such a beautiful one, I am intrigued to know more about the channel(s) that connect those two together - we will have to explore with you!! Your voice is clearly needed in the world. xxx
This is so good Lauren. I have recently learned more about my human design (I'm a MG) and have been practicing with saying yes only when I have a full body response to something. I noticed how much I have convinced myself to do things because they sound good on paper, or seem like something I should do. Taking time to check in and see if there is that gut "yes" has been so so good. Thank you for this!!
Thank you so much for taking the time to read and digest it Emily! Fellow MG here so I totally relate to the full body response, it is interesting how much we are conditioned to say yes to things when they really don't feel right. I am still on a pathway of having to be very conscious about this. Tricky one to navigate but so worthwhile. xxx
Your question, "How has it come to be that keeping myself afloat requires such effort?" is one I've wrestled with myself. Is it the breakneck speed of modern life, the constant bombardment of information, or simply the nature of our sensitive souls? Or perhaps it's a combination of all these factors. It's a profound question that deserves deep reflection.
Funnily enough when I wrote that little intro I felt that it was almost something I needed to write as a piece on it's own. It seems so much to just 'hold threads together' but it is essential and I do wonder how it has come to be this way? Definitely something that I think I will be reflecting on, and probably writing about more. Thank you so much for reading and highlighting that piece. x
Thank you so much Eliza, I feel the same with other models too but for some reason this one lands more deeply for me. I think it takes some time for it to sink in! xx
Wow, this is huge and so full of wisdom and information - I'll have to come back to it, but just wanted to say THANK YOU for providing all of this for us... and for being here and being wonderful 🙏🥰
Ahhh thank you lovely, I know it is A LOT... there may be a better way of presenting it of course, but hopefully it is something people can dip in and out of ! xxx
Learning about Human Design last year totally transformed my life, so I totally get what you mean. Learning that I was a projector with an emotional authority cast a new light on many past experiences that suddenly made total sense.
I think I’m getting better everyday at using my inner authority to make decisions. The ´waiting for the invitation’ part is a bit more difficult to handle, especially the need to make myself visible without initiating action, but as you said, it takes some practice.
I should probably try and make better use of my not self theme, because there are many times I feel or felt what you described.
What I haven’t really dived into yet are the defined and undefined centers. I have an undefined Head/Crown like you and what you wrote resonated with me. So I’m gonna use my inner authority more to skim all the ideas that come to me.
It’s so amazing you have been integrating so much already, and noticing a difference! The not self theme is really useful I find as it tells me when I’m perhaps saying yes to things that should be a no, or am not doing enough things that light me up fully. Be interested to see how you find paying more attention to it. The centres are such a useful tool to understand as they can really show us where we are taking in stuff that’s not ours but also learn more about how we impact the world too. I’m really looking forward to sharing more in the workshops. Xxx

Ooo thank you for that insight, yes would love to delve deeper xx

Such an informative post, thank you Lauren!! Human design doesn't come as intuitively to me as other models, but I love learning more about it
