The Unravelling Podcast is a sacred space for you to come to when you feel the need to be nurtured, inspired and witnessed in all the beautiful messiness of life. You can expect an eclectic mix of topics that include Motherhood, Womanhood, Soulful Business & all that is Sacred. The episodes are intended to be soothing and gentle, yet powerful and impactful, weaving the beautiful art of storytelling together with life lessons, practical tools and a little bit of magic too. The journey of unravelling has many, many layers, and each of us are on our own unique path. My hope is that the words shared in each episode will offer a spark of curiosity and a moment of resonance, and help support you in your own beautiful explorations.

Hello lovely ones,

How are you feeling today? How is your heart?

I am so excited that The Unravelling Podcast is back! I have been creating in this space since 2018 and throughout all of my personal evolutions I have forever felt anchored to the essence of Unravelling. Which for me, as a Manifesting Generator, is quite unusual to be honest!

I tried to rebirth it last year but in all honesty I got overwhelmed and after a few (amazing) episodes it dwindled… however there are just so many incredible humans I want to share conversation with, and give voice to, I feel compelled to breathe life back into it…

You can now expect to receive a podcast episode on a Wednesday around once a month - these will be instead of my weekly note when they are published so in that week I won’t be writing a longer piece. I really hope you get to enjoy and listen and feel inspired by the guests that come on.

This first episode is with my dear friend .

Ellie and I have been connected for over 5 years now and have shared so many wonderful spaces together. Ellie is someone who has the most beautiful grounded, loving energy and I feel like I can be 100% my messy self in front of her. That to me is a gift in itself.

I have witnessed Ellie meet Motherhood with grace and compassion and now birth her beautiful business and I can’t think of anyone else I would rather share space with and I hope that you will receive many nuggets of wisdom from her beautiful shares in this podcast episode.

“We need to be so gentle, so loving, so compassionate, so forgiving. Addiction is an innocent way to try and feel better and cope with our feelings. It doesn’t mean there is anything wrong.”

—Ellie Nova

In this episode we discuss…

  • Ellie’s journey in breaking free from alcohol and the years leading up to her becoming a sober coach

“A huge part of this, my whole approach and how I try to be with myself is, all parts are welcome. That part that wants to escape, yes that is here. There is something in me that wants to escape. Welcome it. It’s not something to get rid of, it’s not something to feel shame about. That is just a part of me.”

Ellie Nova

Ellie is a sober coach, mentor, writer and mother who lives in Lewes, East Sussex, UK. In 2018, after more than a decade feeling trapped by alcohol and full of shame, she began her life-changing journey to sobriety. It led her to unlearn everything she thought she knew about alcohol, and to build a loving relationship with herself for the first time. She now supports courageous women to break free from alcohol for good and create the life they may only have dreamed they could have.
